Dominium’s $118 million renovation of the downtown Arcade Building won’t be finished until December, according to Jeff Huggett, a company vice president, but the Minneapolis-based firm has completed renderings of the market-rate units being built at the historic structure, at Eighth and Olive streets. Those will make up one-third of the 282 units.

The rest will be for artists who will receive U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development assistance. Webster University will be Dominium’s anchor tenant in the building for at least 20 years. Its classrooms will open in 2016.

Dominium has done plenty of other work in the region, but this is by far its largest project here.
