The Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race

Why: It is a fun activity for all ages and running abilities from a half marathon, to a 1-mile fun run. There is a Halloween costume contest, cash prizes, and pumpkin pies after the race.

The Great Pumpkin Patch Express

Where: Union Station

When: 12-7pm w/ multiple dates

Why: The PEANUTS visit the Union Station to tell everyone’s favorite Halloween classic, “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”. You and your young ones can pick pumpkins, enjoy cider, and eat some sugar cookies. The train ride is only half an hour, which is great for those with small attention spans.

Gateway Arch Riverboats Oktoberfest Cruise

Where: Gateway Arch Riverboats

When: October 18th from 12:30pm to 3:00pm

Why: It is October, you need to try at least one Oktoberfest event. Why not a relaxing boat cruise down the Mississippi? With German music of course.

Arch 50 Fest

Where: Jefferson National Expansion Memorial

When: October 24th from 10:30am to 8:00pm.

Why: It is a day long celebration for the 50th anniversary of the Arch. There will be food, drinks, things for the kids, live music, and fireworks.

U.S. Women’s National Soccer Luncheon

Where: 405 Washington Avenue.

When: October 12th from 11:30am to 1:30pm

Why: St. Louis has two hometown heroes that were part of wininng the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Come to the event to celebrate their suggest and maybe even meet them!

Rock n Roll ½ Marathon

Where: 1315 Chestnut Street

When: October 18th from 7:00am to 12:00pm

Why: This run features live entertainment for the running course. There will be food trucks, a beer garden, and a concert post race.

Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy

Where: Peabody Opera House

When: October 30th from 7:30pm to 11:00pm

Why: Everyone needs a good laugh. These comedians have two shows this night due to popular demand. If you haven’t gone to a show in a while, and you like redneck jokes, this is the perfect event for you.

Party Like it’s the 80’s

Where: Lumen

When: October 23rd from 6:00pm to 11:30pm

Why: The 80s tribute band the Spazmatics will be performing. There will be food and drinks. Part of the proceeds will go to the Heffernan Foundation. So, you can feel good rockin’ out for a cause!

Three Sixty’s 4th Annual Haunted Heights Halloween Bash

Where: 360 Bar

Why: We normally don’t post parties on here, but who doesn’t love a Halloween party? On a rooftop bar too? This sounds like a fun place to be Halloween night if you still enjoy going out. If not, I guess you can take the kids trick or treating!
